We are a family owned and operated business that was born and raised in Worcester County.  Farming and raising cattle started with our father Robert Ewell back in 1963.  The early years consisted of a small family farm growing poultry and some swine along with agricultural crops.  The family stayed in agriculture and moved to Newport Farms and with a good friend and started a registered angus cow/calf operation. This operation included AI breeding from different bulls from the Wye Plantation located in Queen Anne’s County. Through AI breeding we learned more about weight gain per day on calves.

We stayed at Newport Farms for 20 years then later moved to our own farm located on Croppers Island Road.  The love of farming and the quality breed of cattle being raised then grew into the lives of his children.  It is our goal to give our community a place to purchase locally grown beef that is humanly raised at an economical cost.
